Box Modelling

Box Modelling
For this I started with a simple cube shape. I had to use all of the tools I learned previously, and some new ones, to turn this into a hammer.
For the hammer head, I changed the centre square of one of the surfaces to a circle, and twisted it. Afterwards I beveled the shape to form the front.
To make the whole hammer rounder, I pressed TAB. I extruded most of the back of the hammer outwards, to form the other end.
To create the handle I turned the bottom of the head into a circle, then extruded it downwards.
The final part of creating the hammer was selecting the handle of the hammer, grouping it then selecting a wooden colour for it. I also selected the head and gave it a metal colour.

Final Render
This is what my hammer looks like after rendering it in Layout. I edited the surface my hammer is on to be shiny and reflective. For the handle, I added a wood texture, and the head has a shiny, metallic texture/look to it.
