HA8 - Task 7: Review

Overall, I think the project has gone well. My finished robot companion looks just like I intended in shape, but not so much in texture and colour. In Layout, I couldn't quite find the textures I wanted for some parts of the body, like the arms and the boxes.

Strengths:

• I was able to manage my time properly, and followed most of the schedule without needing to change it much.
• My final robot was shaped almost exactly the same as the design pack.
• The majority of the textures suited the post-apocalyptic environment the robot was built for.

Weaknesses:

• I couldn't find suitable textures for a couple of body parts (like the arms), so I had to pick the closest textures I could find.
• The shape of the legs had to be changed because they didn't look right when made in modeler.
• The face and the storage box on the front of the robot look a bit out of place, due to the textures they were given.
• I didn't spend as much time on the texturing and colouring of the robot as I could have.
